Show MILLARD CO H S GRADUATES LARGE CLASS the commencement exercises ot of the millard county high school hold last wednesday evening were attended by an exceptionally large audience composed of friends and relatives of tho the graduates and friends ot of the local county high school the following program constituted the commencement exercises which were conducted by board member alembert james A kelly orchestra selection M 11 II S orchestra cli estra prayer bishop preal george orchestra selection al 11 II S address ot of welcome bernice dorrity vocal solo loraine valedictory address lona shields chorus boys glee club address to graduates dr thomas L martin piano solo myrl nixon awarding diplomas supt bupt 11 K farnsworth worth saxophone Sax aphone solo norman jacobs C horus chorus girls glee club benediction bishop preal george reference was made during the course of 0 the program to the outstanding achievements ot of the present class which is the seventeenth class graduated from the millard county high school and which incidentally Is the largest class to pass from the bated special reference was made local school 60 students being grad to the scholastic standing ot of the class as a unit and especially in regard to the honor student miss lona shields who carried the class honors and delivered the valedictory address the valedictory address appears in another part ot of this paper and Is indeed worthy ot of note the progress wishes to congratulate the members of the 1929 class upon their achievement and at the same time express our appreciation to the faculty and the supt bupt ot of schools who th rought their effort have made this achievement possible blei 7 senior banquet A very enjoyable banquet was sar served to members of the senior class and others at the stevens hotel after the exercises last wednesday five courses were served to 85 persons those who were present expressed their pleasure at having had the opportunity of meeting with the class on this occasion |
