Show Mayor Sentenced To Prison Term Indianapolis, Ind. Roswell Johnson, John-son, mayor of Gary, Ind. Saturday was sentenced to serve one year and six months "in prison and fined $2,000 for violation of liquor laws, in the. United States district court here. Johnson, with fifty-four other Gary residents, was convicted of conspiracy to violate the prohibition laws. Three of those indicited were granted new trials. William H. Dunn, former city judge of Gary, was sentenced to serve a year and a day in prison and fined $1,000. |
