GARY, United States Steel Corporation Here are the 14 health points I am endeavoring to live up to : Exercise in the open air, but do it moderately. Breathe deeply of pure air as much as possible. Leave alcoholic stimulants alone. Take tea and coffee if you like them. Drink pure water. Eat little meat. Eat red meat but once a weei. Eat little starch, fat or sweets; eat plenty of green vegetables containing con-taining mineral salts; eat whole wheat bread; eat good, fresh fruit and urink milk if it agrees with you. Follow regular habits. Get plenty of sleep. Work hard mentally and physically, but not too long. Lead a good, clean life. Keep an even temper and avoid excitement Never get angry or indulge in controversy. ' Obey the golden rule. Eat only to satisfy hunger, not to please the palate. |
