Show i MILFORD GIRL MAKES BRILIJAXT RECORD Milford has every reason to ho proud of one of her girls. Miss Max-ine Max-ine Bardsley. Miss Bardsley, wh0 is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwarcx Br.rdsley. has made a most enviable record throughout her career in ; school, first in the grades in Milford. then in high school, in Salt Lake ! City, where she added to her othei laurels by winning a scholarship in the University of California. And now in the university, sne has been chosen one of ten girls rated as the most brilliant students out of SOi. freshmen. The girls are sophomores in the university and were chosen on their record throughout their fresii man year. In the issue of October 3, San Francisco Examiner, a large picture of the girls appeared with the announcement an-nouncement that these were the ten most brilliant women students in the freshman class last year at the University of California. "The rings were the gifts of the Women's Social committee and their presentation yesterday marked the first instance of scholastic reward ev-' ev-' cr made by a student organization." |
