Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Dr. C. R. Parrish will leave Sunday Sun-day for Salt Lake to visit Mrs. Parrish. Par-rish. Mrs. James Patterson of Reed has been quite ill the past week. Al Cline has added another very capable member to his force, Mr. C. A. Hone, formerly of San Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McGarry spent several days in town this week. Mrs. Otto Meeks of the Dude j ranch has been in town several davs. ! i ' i Mrs. Selma Carlson and two daughters, Helen and Marie, left Thursday on No. 4 for a visit with ' her brothers at Eureka and Sandy, Utah. They expect to return about August 31. Mrs. W. F. Knox, Miss Martha Hurst and Mr. Wallace Knox of. Wild geese were seen at the Rocky Ford Irrigation station Tuesday, and the residents there saw a magnificent big swan floating on the reservoir recently. Mr. Lee of the U, P. force with a Salt Lake visitor and his own family have been on a fishing trip, returning return-ing Monday. t Mrs. Bill Smith and son Billy of Salt Lake, are here to spend two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ian James. The members of the Rebehah Lodge held a weiner roast at Hanging Hang-ing Rock park Friday night. j . Business and professional Women's Wo-men's club will hold a luncheon Tuesday evening 7:30 at the Milford Hotel.. Mr. and Mrs. Al Cline returned Friday after spending several days in Salt Lake buying fall goods. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Pool and daughters returned Friday evening after a week spent at Salt Lake. Mr. Gordon Thornberg, one of the Orpheum owners, has spent several days in town. Business and Professional Women's Wo-men's Club met at Atkins Hotel Monday evening. S. O. Russey is back in town running run-ning between Milford and Lynndyl. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hanks, Mrs. Mattie Korns, Mrs. Wyora James and Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Gailey were all in town coming for their brother's funeral Saturday. Mrs. Erma Gillies left for . Salt Lake Sunday on 26 for a few days and will then return to go to Fish Lake to spend her vacation. : Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Duffin and two sons of Caliente, spent several days in town. - Mrs. J. M. Kinney and Miss Irene Tanner will leave Saturday for Las Angeles for a 30 day vacation. Mrs. S. C. Ruschmeier and son Charles, returned during the week from Salt Lake. Ward Evans; of Vernal, Utah, is visiting his sister, Mrs. C. L. Ford. Joe Kinney and Eb Tanner returned return-ed Saturday night from Portland. Mrs. J. E. Yither and daughter, Naomi, returned from Salt Lake Sunday morning where Mrs. Yither has been receiving medical treat- j ment for the past 3 months. '. ! Mr. and Mrs. W. 0. The regular meeting of the Ser-vlve Ser-vlve Star Legion will be held at I. O. O. F. Hall at 3 p. m.. Friday, August 27th. All eligible members i invited to be present.
