Show JUDGE BURTON PAYS TRIBUTE TO JUSTICE FRICK In appointing a committee to drat resolutions of respect in honor cf Joseph F. Frick, of the Supreme court of Utah, who died in Los Angeles, An-geles, Cal., on Feb. 12, Judge Burton said in Court in Beaver last Tuesday. "The members of the bar all recognize rec-ognize the fact that Judge Frick was I one of the ablest judges who ever occupied oc-cupied the bench in Utah. He was rendered long, efficient and faithful services, giving the best part of his life to the cause. He was a tireless worker. ' His industry and capacity for work was extraordinary. I am reliably informed that during the first fourteen years of his service on the bench Justice' Frick has written 682 of the 1,492 opinions handed down by that tribunal during said period. Although dead, Judge Frick will live on in the Judicial history of the State of Utah which he has ably helped help-ed to make." The committee: Sam Cline, Chairman; L. H. Coxr W. L. Hoyt, Durham Morris, and Lawrence Huntsman. |
