Show w PYROTECHNIC THRILLS FOR STATE FAIR FOLKS The Pain fireworks, largest and most spectacular ever shown anywhere any-where in the West, have been engaged en-gaged at a huge expense to give a display eaeh evening of the Utah Btate Fair, October 1 to 6. This show embodies all the novelty, brilliance bril-liance and thrill of modern pyrotech-nlos pyrotech-nlos at their best. That it is a brand new kind of entertainment for the people of this region is indicated by the fact that last year was the first time they ever showed at ail. That the Pain fireworks are not to be confused with the ordinary displays dis-plays seen on celebration days, is the statement of W. D. Sutton, manager man-ager of the fair. They are coiossal in scope and long in duration, consuming con-suming one hour and forty-five minutes min-utes to the performance. The climax of each evening's display will be a spectacle of marvelous beauty and surprising conception. This feature is known as the Temple of Concord, depicting a theme in a pageant ol t fire. The fireworks displays will be staged just within the race course ' in front of the grandstand. Exten sive platforms and mechanical devices de-vices will be erected. A |
