Show COPPERFIELD BREVITIES Mrs. A. T. Kent entertained the members of the Aid Society Socie-ty at her home Friday afternoon after-noon of last week. The time was spent in sewing after which refreshments were served to the following; Mrs. Fred Eber-hart, Eber-hart, Mrs. C. A. Eliades, Mrs. O. C. Jones, Mrs. J. II. Colyar, Mrs. W. Atkinson, Mrs. W. A. McNab, Mrs. W. E. Scott, Mrs. Guy McNab, Mrs. John Ford, Mrs. L. Ford, Mrs. D. L. Kent and Mrs. W. Braun. Mrs. Ernest Poulson and her small son, Keith, spent last week-end in Salt Lake City. Mr. Poulson is recovering from a recent re-cent operation at St. Mark's Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. John Knudsen and daughters, Ruby and Mabel spent Wednesday in Salt Lake. Miss Mabel Neprud attended the institute at Sandy on. Saturday Sat-urday for the Principals of the Jordan school district. Friends of Mrs. H. B. Aven pleasantly surprised her at her home here Tuesday afternoon. Bridge was played after which a two course luncheon was served ser-ved to, Mrs. G. Bolman, Mrs. Boyd Barnard, Mrs. Art Maley, Mrs, Will Jones, Mrs. II. Breck-on, Breck-on, Mrs. J. Flynn and Mrs. J. KemD. Kemp. ' Mr. and Mrs. II. B. Aven, Mr. and Mrs. H. Breckon and Mr. and Mrs. Doty, of Salt Lake, were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Art Maly Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Carter have as their guests this week Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Atherly and small daughter, of Vernon. Mrs. G. Cunliffe and small daughter and Mrs. . D. Farns-worth, Farns-worth, were the guests of J. E. Cunliffe and family Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Horace Grant were Salt Lake visitors Saturday. Satur-day. Miss Ruth Blackmore was hostess at a party at her home Monday evening, the occasion being her fourteenth birthday anniversary. Games and music were the features. A two course luncheon was served to the following; fol-lowing; Misses Ellen Byrnes, Pearl Ryan, Bertha Rynders, Kate and Eliza Pope and Geo. Anderson, C. Bodmer, E. Oliver Oliv-er and Rueben Cunliffe. Mr. and Mrs. George Rallo were Salt Lake visitors Monday. Mrs. Joe Adams has as her guest, her niece, Mrs. G. Tucker of Springville. . Misses Rachel and Clarabelle Mace, of Sandy, spent last week end here with their sister, Mrs. Willis Park. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Turner, Jr. and daughter, Gladys, spent the day last Tuesday in Salt' Lake. |
