Show -IBERAL CASH' AWARDS TO FAIR EXHIBITORS Besides the $8,000 offered by the 7tah State Fair Association in the I22 exposition to be held at Salt Lake Mty October 2 to 7, many special prize nducements have been contributed y private individuals and firms. The ollowing information will be of in-erest in-erest to prospective exhibitors : Ogdeh Grain Exchange has contri-mted contri-mted $100 to be used for premiums on commercial wheats of the following -arieties: Turkey, Srarquis, Early Baart, Dicklow, Koford and Sevier. Consolidated Wagon & Machine Company will offer merchandise to the ;xtent of $50.00 to be offered on sil-ige sil-ige crops. Miller-Cahoon Company offers $42 worth of Louden goods as premiums on forage and grain exhibits. Goods to be selected by winners. James M. Kirkham offers $25.00 for best ten ears of field corn. This is the same as Premium Xn. 80. Mr. W. W. Armstrong oilers $100.00 on the special displays of Sweet Spanish Onions and Utah grown potatoes.1 po-tatoes.1 Exhibits appear as specified for special displays. Utah Canners' Association offers $50.00 on the canning crops, namely, tomatoes, peas, beans and corn. Z. C. M. I. offers $.10.00 on dread fruits and nuts. The Mountain Produce company 1100 in special prizes for the best peck of apples and pears and the best garden products display by one individual. indi-vidual. The Inland Fertilizer company will give a cash prize for the best showing of products grown from soil treated with its fertilizer. |
