Show FIRST REBEKAH MEETING IN NEW I. 0. OF. HALL Victory Rebekah lodge No. 43 held regular session, Wednesday evening, in the Otld Fellows' beautiful new hall, which ;s nearly completed. There was a large attendence and' after the regular business meeting the time was spent inspecting and admiring the new building. At the front is a large banquet room 1Sx30, back of which is a modern kitchen, 9x1 G, which will be a great delight to the Sister Rebckahs. The kitchen kitch-en has a large sink, hot and cold water, large cupboards filled with beautiful white dishes and silverware silver-ware recently purchased by the Rebckahs; Re-bckahs; long shelves for serving and a. fine electric range Next come the large ante and par-aphanilia par-aphanilia rooms, amply supplied with lockers for the paraphanatia of the different lodges which will hold lodge in the building. The Odd Fellows have ' recently bought $700 worth, and the Rebe-kahs Rebe-kahs have a full line of regalia. The main hall is 24x55 with beamed beam-ed ceilings in white enamel. The sides of the wall are tinted tan color col-or to blend with the bsautiful oak woodwork. The floor is a handsome hand-some white maple with runners of fine brussei's carpet, which adds much to the beauty of the room. The happy evening closed with a banquet in honor of one of their members, Mrs. Lulu Germo, who leaves soon to make her home at Salt Lake City. Mrs. Germo will be greatly missed, as she has been one of the lodge's most faithful members. She is a past noble grand and district deputy for the present term She was presented pres-ented a handsome set of silver salad sal-ad forks by the members, to show their appreciation of her work. Beautiful bouquets of garden flowers flow-ers decorated the banquet table. |
