Show theIhilford high school items Mr-. Terry Presents Books to the Library The school library received a valuable val-uable addition a few days ago, when Mrs. Terry presented the school with a complete set of Washington Irv-ing's Irv-ing's works. The books will be a source of help and pleasure to both students and teachers. Beaver Students Present Drama Friday night, the Beaver high school dramatic club presented a four act comedy, "The New Co-Ed, " under un-der the direction of Robert Pixton, in the high school auditorium. The play was thoroughly enjoyed by the students and townspeople. The comedy was a story of life in a co-ed college, and dealt with Uie struggles of a poor girl who had to fight against the jealousy of an envious en-vious classmate. All the parts were well taken, but Warren Thompson, as "Punch" the boy who was indir-ferent indir-ferent to the color of his shoes, and ihls clothing in general, was especr-ally especr-ally good. Scout Executive Talks to Boys On Monday afternoon Golden Kil-burn, Kil-burn, scout executive of Southern Utah .talked to the boys of the school He teld the boys of the important place honor had in the building of dharacter, and in the latter part oi hie talk, discussed first aid in ite re-latlo re-latlo nto boy scout work. The meeting meet-ing ended with some stirring scout scngs led by Mr. Kilburn. Mr. Kilburn's visit was much appreciated ap-preciated by the boys who extender him a hearty invitatio no treturn. A |
