Show KIND WORDS CLUB ' HOLD SESSION WED. Election is over and the Kind Words club has resumed their meeting. meet-ing. Nineteen gathered around two tables at the Milford last Wednesday Wednes-day noon and devoured hot biscuits and' chickens. The Republicans were all placed at one table and the Democrats at the other, so they would not scrap. At the Democratic table were the chairman, Dr. Addison Bybee, Robert Rob-ert Matheson, Ed. Peterson, Wm. Mil ler, L. R. Fournier, C. Pfile, Peter Weidner, Wm. Martin, H. T. Hanks and Cluff. At the Republican table were Bert Nichols, C. C. Sloan, K. S. Carlton, R. D. Zook, Des Hickman, V. S. Peet H. C. Hunter, Jack Sherwood, D. E. Kirk and Morrison Hickman. Dr. Bybee was made chairman of the hour. V. S. Peet, of the Union Pacific railroad, made a ft w remarks in regard to the S. P. U. P. controversy. contro-versy. He explained the attitude ot the U. P. in the matter and after con siderable discussion, in which Carlton, Carl-ton, Sloan,' Hunter, Zook, Kirk and others took part, a resolution was introduced by H. C. Hunter, favoring favor-ing the Union Pacific railroad, was unanimously adopted. Sloan then brought up the question ques-tion of a landing field for airships. H. T. Hanks told of the experience of the aviators who landed here two weeks ago, and on account of not having good ground, they broke their machine and were compelled to hire an express car and loadi their machine ma-chine out. He said that to fix up a field with proper markings would only cost about $100, and! upon mo- lion, a committee composed of Hanki Sloan Hunter, was appointed to construct con-struct the field.
