Show GO TO SILVER CITY 'j Mrs. A. C. Nebeker and children j left Tuesday night for Silver City.' where they will join their husband and father, Mr. A. C. Nebeker and make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Nebeker hjavo been lesidents of Milford for nearly five years and have taken an active part in church and civic work, and will be greatly missed. A number of social affairs have been given in honor of Mrs. Nebeker. Friday afternoon, of last week, the Relief society and Choir club of the L. D. S. church gave a lawn party in her honor at the home of Mrs. Kar Levi. A social time over needle work was enjoyed, followed with light refreshments. Monday evening a number or the Civic club gathered at her home for a farewell party. Games and music were . enjoyed. Miss Estelle Nebeker played several piano selections while the growd was gathering. Mrs. vr. F. Cottrell gave two recitations. Mrs. George Atkins Jr. gave a piano solo. Mrs. Jack Haymond, vocal solo; and several selections were sung by the members of the church choir, Mesdames Mes-dames Hedges, Smith, Levi, Schow, Haymond and Bird. Delicious refreshments re-freshments were served by Mrs. E. Marksheffel, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. narvey neuges aim ivirs. vv . r. c.oi.-trell. c.oi.-trell. After the luncheon Mrs. Anna An-na Jones Atkin in a very touching manner, presented Mrs. Nebeker with a beautiful set of silver teaspoons in behalf of the members. |
