Show Mrs. Al Cline entertained last Thursday with a bridge party in honor of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Guy Sanborn of Los Angeles. Easter decorations were carried out and a very delicious luncheon was served. Mrs. L. G. Clay won first prize, Mrs. M. P. Lewis second, and Mrs. W. W. Markham consolation The guests included Mesdames Clark Kesler, W. V. Markham, Russel Kidder, Grover Cuddy, H. Yeager, Erma Gillies, Myron My-ron Lewis, J. R. Murdock, Frank Farmer, Charles Newhart, Vernon ' Johnson, Clarence Grimshaw, L. G. Clay and Miss Jaunita Millar. I Mrs. Grover Cuddy entertained the ,Jouble Bridge club last Friday even-; ing. First prixe was awarded to Mrs. Hugh Chansellor; guest prize, ' Mrs. Frank Calloway and consola-; tion Mrs. L. G. Clay. At the close of the evening a dainty luncheon was ' served. The members present were Mrs. Yeager, Mrs. Rodgers, Mrs. ' Cline, Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Weston and Mrs. Chansellor. Invited guests were Mrs. Guy Sanborn, Mrs. Calloway, Mrs. L. G. Clay, Mrs. Gillies, Mrs.. Waddingham and Mrs. Langenbacker.l The Saturday evening Bridge club was entertained this week at the l.ome of Mrs. Frank Calloway. The long dinner table was beautifully decorated with jonquils and maiden hair fern. Small yellow butterflies formed the place cards. Mrs. Geo. Fernley won first prize arid Mrs. Wm. Broyles was awarded consolation. Club members present were Mesdames Chas. Moore, W. H. Broyles, Wm. j Morley, Chas. Sloan, Chas. Newhart, antl George Fernley. Invited guests were Mesdames Geo. Rodgers, and Mrs. Hugh Chansellor. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Peterson entertained enter-tained at dinner Sunday in honor of their father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hatton." The following relatives being present, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Robinson and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Bond, Wm. Bond and family, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Goodwin. Mrs. L. G. Clay was hostess to the Pierian club Monday evening, March 2S. Miss Johnson gave the lesson. Mrs. Bowman, Clay, Steenback, Baxter, Bax-ter, Weber, Pitchforth, Anon Smith, Nebeker, Wilson, White, Miss Miller and Miss Johnson were present. Mrs. Susie Smith was a guest. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Markham will be hostess at the next meeting. |
