Show Locals Angus Buchanan surely enjoyed Hie big celebration in Milford. iMrs. Hayniond went to Salt Lake City to spend the 4th. Father Daniel Slatterly of Caliente held mass here Sunday morning. Mr. and M.rs. J. B. Staus of American Amer-ican Fork, wore here on Monday. Mr. and Mrs.. Eb Tanner were in from Reed to spend the 4th, Tuesday. Tues-day. Abe Fothering'ham Jr. has a brand new Dodge truck for the mail route which he took over the 1st of July. Mrs. J. T. Warduntiurg of Salt Lake City, came Tuesday to spend the Fourth and visit Mrs. Heher .Hanks for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Moore are spending their vacation at Riverside, California. Mrs. Mattie Armstrong was the dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Orwin on the Fourth. Mm. J. McKay, of Clear Lake, spent Monday and Tuesday in our midst. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Roberts and F. M. Parker of Salt Lake City, were here to see our celebration. Mrs. Charles F. Moore, Miss Na-lale Na-lale Paddock, of Grand Junction, Colorado, Co-lorado, were with us this past week. Mrs. A. H. Dahley, formerly of Milford, but now located- at Black Rock, spent several days here, the suest of Mrs. C. C. Sloan and family Mr. and Mrs. Van Fleet came down to celebrate the Fourth of July. Miss Bakes, who works for the Z. C. ;M,. I. store at Salt Lake, will spend her two weeks' vacation with her mother, Mrs. Caroline Bakes, at Beaver. Mrs. Antone Johnson returned on Friday of last week from a two week 'visit with her daughter, Mrs. J. San-ford, San-ford, at Ogden, Utah. Mrs, Jennie Tanner, of Blackfoot, Idaho, who has been visiting relatives rela-tives and friends in Beaver, spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Mrs. C. C. Murdock on her return home. Rev.. Zook and Mrs. R. D. Zook, Mr. O. E, Lewis, Edith and Harold Carter, left Wednesday afternoon and spent the night at Cedar Brakes, returning home Thursday evening. They report a wonderful time. They spent several hours climbing the mountains and reached an elevation of 11.000 feet, where they found 4 feet of snow. Mr. Zook left again on Friday morning for Ephriam, where he will assist Brother ' Mork of Salt Lake with tent meetings. Meetings will bo held1 here later in the summer. sum-mer.
