Show CLOSING ENTERTAINMENT Due to the fact that only one student stu-dent was graduated at the high school this year, no Commencement exercises were given, but a well arranged ar-ranged program was rendered Thursday Thurs-day evening as a closing entertainment. entertain-ment. A large audience filled the auditorium audi-torium and afterwards attended the dance in the gymnasium, where punch, ice cream and cake were served. The High School orchestra did splendid work and the choruses were equally good. Mr. C. A. Arrington and Principal Princi-pal Smith gave Interesting talk school work and both urged strongly that Milford work harder to keep its upper classes filled. A two-act comedy, a "Box of Monkeys," Mon-keys," given by the students, completed com-pleted the program which was as follows: fol-lows: Orchestra selection High School orchestra. Chorus Eighth, Tenth and Eleventh Elev-enth grades. Talk C. A. Arrington Chorus Seventh and Ninth grades. grad-es. Talk Principal Smith. Presentation of Diplomas Principal Smith. Violin solo Mr. Christensen. Two-act comedy Misses Letha Schow, Murle Pitchforth, Maxine Bardsley, LaVon Bird and Harold Carlson. The largest crowd ever assembled in the auditorium was present at these exercises. |
