Show News Notes From ; the Milford High School Students Last week in a board of control meeting, a motion was made t0 the effect that the school have a police force nominated by the board and seloewd by the entire school and student body. Just then a large group of students stu-dents decided things were too quiet and immediately an enlivening pro-sram pro-sram was started. No doubt it was just the thing for a presidential campaign, cam-paign, but such a commotion of yelling, yel-ling, stamping, running and clang- 1 ing of the assembly bell waa not con ductive for an orderly meeting; r.nct ! .is Mr. Heaton, the chairman, vainly I endeavored to make himself heard, the rumpus increased. A spaaker said this was an example exam-ple of why police were neeessary. The above motion was, nade r.nd unanimously un-animously carried; and! the nomination nomina-tion for these officers proceeded. Wednesday an assembly was called. cal-led. Seven of the nominees were elected for such an office for their popularity and sportsair.nship, the students are satisfied that thoy will j perform their duties in all fairness I of judgment. We wish to also congratulate the school on the very good behavior of the pupils as very few have had to pay the penalties of being offenders.
