Mrs. J. Ridge returned home from Provo, where she has been visiting with relatives for a time. S. W. Stoker and George Dearing left Sunday for Kanosh for a few days' hunting trip. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Orwin, daughter daugh-ter Mercy, and son Clyde, spent Sunday Sun-day in Beavor visiting with friends. Mrs. Rose, of Delta, is spending a couple of weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Phil Orwin of Milfprd. John Gillies of Beaver, was transacting tran-sacting business in Milford the first of the week. Mrs. J. Jeffers and. Mrs. Mary Williamson Wil-liamson left Thursday of last week to visit for a time with their sister, in Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Otto' Steenboch and Mr. and Mrs. John Kirk left Saturday Satur-day morning for a four day's hunting hunt-ing trip in the mountains. Karl Brown and E. P. Coffey, the camera men for "The Covered Wagon" Wag-on" are the same, who photographed the screen success. "Saturday Night" George Miller, formerly of Milford. but now of Ogden, was here with a party of capitalists, looking over the Bon Soldat mine this week. Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Atkin and family fam-ily are expected here from Pheonix, Arizona, to visit with their parents for a month or so. Mr. and Mrs. Yeager andi Mrs. Harris Har-ris went to Suit Lake Tuesday. Mr. Yeager went to attend the Safety First monthly meeting. Mrs. L. B. Bohn returned from Beaver Tuesday having spent several days visiting with relatives and friends. The Security Benefit association will give a card party, October 26, at the I. O. O. F. hall at 8 o'clock. Everybody welcome. Admission 25c. Burnett Fotherlngham, Nate Smith and Klmmel Coon went to Garrison Monday afternoon for a few days visit at the picture colony. A. L. Fotheringham of Beaver and Mr. Harve Hedges spent the first of the week at Garrison, where the Las-ky Las-ky company is on location. Mr. Luther Hardy of Minersville, was in town the last of the week on business connected with the Tellu-ride Tellu-ride Power company. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mebus, of Salt Lake, have moved into the Forgie apartments. He is in the service of the railroad. The ladies of the G. I. A. will go to Calionte, Friday, where there will be the initiation of a candidate into the mysteries of the degree. , Mr. Leland Silver went to Salt Lake and returned with his mother. She expects to spend the winter in Milford. Mrs. C. G. Cuddy has returned home from Kanosh. where she has been visiting with her mother and sister for the past month. The Busy Stitchers were entertained enter-tained by Mrs. Mitchell Coon at the home of Mrs. Wade Coon, Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Sadie Brown, who has made her home in Milford the past few months, left the latter part of the week for Salt Lake, where her 13 year old daughter. Leah is to be operated oper-ated upon for appendicitis. She expects ex-pects to make her home in Salt Lake. Mrs. R. Jefferson, who was called to Morehead. Minn., three months j ago. on account of the serious illness i of her mother, returned home Saturday Sat-urday and report? her mother as much improved in health. On her way home she visited in Salt Lake with old friends from Milford. Alfred Belander was here from j Baker this week. j Tex .Star, a renowned cowboy was here last Sunday. I Lee Erickson returned to town on j Sunday evening with a large riwr. ; the result of his hunting trip. ; Mr. and Mrs. George Feruley and j Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fernley went to j Beaver Sunday to attend conference. . Earl Horton and Red Black, who j have heen employed in Ely, Nevada, j returned to Milford Friday. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Himstreet and Mrs. Ella Ernst spent Friday afternoon after-noon in Minersville. Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Graff, of Delta, was with us last Tuesday and Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Miss Louise Levi went to Beaver Wednesday to visit with friends for several days. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham entertained Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hunter and their guests, Mr. and Mrs. McCulley, of Pocatello, Idaho. Monday evening. A dainty luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. McCaulley returned home Tuesday night. Miss Mary Williamson has gone to Paragonnah for a short visit and her sister, Inez, is taking her place at the news stand. A number of people were very pleasantly entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. Reisner. Sunday evening, the occasion being Mr. Reis-ner's Reis-ner's 33rd birthday. "500' was played until a late hour, when dainty dain-ty refreshments were served. Mr. Reisner and Mrs. Blumberg received high score and Mrs. Tom Martin low score. M,rs. Elizabeth Marcus and daughter, daught-er, of Richfield, passed through town Friday morning on their way to Garrison, Gar-rison, where the Lasky corporation is on location for the filming of the picture, "The Covered Wagon." Mrs. Markus writes for the Richfield Reaper and no doubt her writings are read and enjoyed by a number of citizens, as they appear in the paper from time to time. They were taken over to Garrison by Mr. L. G. Clay. |
