Joe Kinney returned from a business busi-ness trip in Salt Lake Wednesday. Miss Louise Levi is attending school at the B. Y. U. at Provo. ffm. Martin is unloading a car of Durants and Stars.' Miss Juanita Miller spent several days in Salt Lake this week. Dan Ferguson has accepted "a" position po-sition in California, where he will spend the winter. Miss Lottie Murdock was sent to Salt Lake the latter part of last week to undergo an operation for appendicitis. At this time her condition con-dition has not yet been so that an operation could be performed. Mrs. Clairmont Mortensen returned return-ed from Provo Monday. Miss Jessie Patterson of Beaver, was here on Tuesday. J. Frank Day was in Milford on Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Richardson were in from Garrison on Monday. S. B. Hammil and son, Sam, of Salt Lake City, are here this week selling crockery ware to our merchants. mer-chants. Bert Swindlehurst of Beaver, is employed in the Jecerson meat market mar-ket for a few days. Many of the young people of Mil-ford Mil-ford are attending the Fair at Paro-wan. Paro-wan. Mrs. Ambrose Bradshaw has been seriously ill with an attack of acute tonsilitis. Mrs. Lottie Smith has as her guest hor niece. Miss Alice Ipson, of Salt Lake. Miss Eva Grimshaw of Beaver, has accepted a position as clerk at the Milford Mercantile company. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight of Minersville. spent Thursday in our city. The H. T. Kaminska family have moved from their farm into the Foster home on Stoddard street. The ladies of the Victory Rebekah lodge and their partners, spent a very enjoyable Sunday in Minersville Miners-ville canyon. Mrs. Leonard Bowen returned Monday from a visit with her parents par-ents at Kanosh. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Edwards, and Mrs. Amelia White returned from Cedar City Monday. Mr. and Mrs. George Fernley spent Sunday in Beaver, the guests of Mr. Fernley 's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fernley. Miss Ardath Johnson returned on Monday after an eight days' visit wTith her sister at Perston, Idaho. Mm. J. W. Myers was called to N'ephi on account of the illness of her brother, Mr. McKnight. "Frenchy" Garzand is finishing up another residence in the south part of town. Miss Edna Stapleton, formerly employed in this office, was in the city a few days ago en route to her old home in. Washington. Miss Grace Plummer, one of the teachers in the Milford schools, arrived ar-rived from Berkely. California, on Saturday to begin her work. Mr. and Mrs. Bush Brown have moved into their new residence which they recently (purchased of Douglas Fotheringbam. Miss. Gertrude Baxter, has resigned resign-ed her position with the Telluride Power company to attend the Milford Mil-ford high school. Work commenced yesterday on the big brick platform at the new depot. It is to be 750 feet long. Clark Kesler is just finishing up one of the finest residences in the city. He expeois to move into the new structure within the next few weeks. Lee Erickson is putting up two five-room modern residences, one on the back of the lot on which he now resides, and one East of the Coon home, on the Frisco highway. A regular meeting of the Eastern Star was held Tuesday evening. A solo was rendered by Miss Jane Castle, Cas-tle, after which a dainty luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Fayle Huddelston arrived Friday morning and will spend some time with friends and relatives before returning to their home at Lynndyl. Mr. and Mrs. D. P. VanFleet left Thursday, en route, overland, for California, to make their future home. Frank Osburn returned Wednesday Wednes-day from Salt Lake, where he has' been working for the interest of thej Galena Mining company.
