Show Air Mail Men Make Stop Here Capt. C. R. Reynolds, U. S. A. Air service and Sergt J. E. Carden, in charge of airplane A. S. 25-340, landed at the North Milford Heights Monday after facing a thirty-five mile per hour wind continuously in their flight from San Diego to Milford, Mil-ford, leaving San Diego at 9 a. m and arriving- at. Milford at 5 p. m, The plane is of a new type, equipped equip-ped with Packard 12-400 h. p. Liber ty motor, with starter, supercharger vacuum wing and gravity fuel tank all steel stancheons supporting the fusilage. Both aviators were provided with the latest parachute accoutrements which they wear strapped to them while in flight. In an interview with Capt. Capt. Reynolds stated that immed iate steps, taken to establish a per manent field with proper markers would be appreciated by the air ser vice. A most beautiful take-off was wit nessed Tuesday at 10:30 when the flight was resumed to Salt Lake those present being L. G. Clay, Dill. Di-ll. C. Hunter, Walter Thiel, Ed Now ers and 'A. S.
