Show FIVE WELLS FOR THE DIXIE OIL COMPANY It was only a week ago that the Dixie Oil company, operating in the Virgin field of southern Utan, brought in its fourth well, with a strong showing of a high grade product, pro-duct, and now well No. 5 has come in very strong, although the amount of the flow has not beon Mated. A. C. Burritt, geologist, who is now on the ground, atUVd a message to the effect that th-: bringing in nt the two wells had sufficed to prove all o the ground held by the Dixie company, more than 2100 acres in extent. George S. Barton, of the Barton Brokerage company, said that in as much as all of the company holdings hold-ings had been proved, the campaign of drilling would be continued on a larger scale than ever before and that within a week three rigs would be at work on three new wells. He added that the refinery war completed com-pleted and that only the Installation of more storage tanks was required to enable the handling of the product pro-duct on an extensive commercial basis. |
