Show w MILFORD MINERSVILLE Blizzards may interfere with meetings, turkey dinners and other things, but not with a basket ball game, when the contestants are Milford Mil-ford and Minersville. Last Wednesday Wednes-day evening Minersville team and a fair number of rooters displayed much spirit and courage in facing the inclement weather to keep their appointment for a game which had been scheduled some days before. For an early season game, this exhibition ex-hibition was decidedly interesting. Minersville boys, though lnrge and ac tive have been handicapped by having hav-ing to practice in their small gym, and were rather lost In this game. Hickman for the local team did especially well. MSiller and Coon did good work, as did also Bradfleld and Martin. For the Minersville team, Banks as Center did very well and received good support from Myers My-ers and Fotheringham. The score was 36 to 10 in favor of Milford. 1 The lineup follows: Milford Hickman, Captain; Miller, Mill-er, Coon, Martin, Bradfield. Subs: W. Tanner, O. Tanner. Carter and Mollis v- Minersville Banks. Captain; Myers. My-ers. Rawlins, Carter, Dotson, Subs: I. Eyre, O. Eyre, Fotheringham. The Milford team will go to Beaver Bea-ver Friday night to compete with the Murdook team. In view of the fact that Murdock won the last game played with Milford, our boys are working hard for this game and still have much hope of being victorious. vic-torious.
