Show COMMERCIAL CLUB HOLDS INTERESTING MEETING The Milford Commercial Club held its regular meeting last night. President Pearson whp expecis to move to California in the near future, futu-re, presented his resignation and ask ed that new president be elected. The club declined to accept his resignation, resig-nation, requesting him to act until he left town, and then the Vice-President, Mr. Sloan, would fill out the term, which ends February 1st. Mr. C. T. Woodbury was elected treasurer to take the place of Mr. Clinton, who has moved away. The chief subjects of discussion were first "Publicity, next "Power" for the pumping district. A committee composed com-posed of Carlton. Jorgensen and Sloan Sl-oan was appointed to look into the best method of making our good points known to prospective settlers. A committee composed of Sloan, Cottrell and Pearson, was appointed to go into the power question. These committees are to report at the next regular meeting. |
