Mrs. Edwin Wheat is visiting her mother. Mrs. Hilma Malstrom at Mid valo. Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Frazier and family will leave Thursday to spend a few days at their ranch near Yale. Mrs. W. C. Ernst and Mrs. Arthur Wood came down from Caliente Tuesday Tu-esday night for a short visit. L. E. Ross of Salt Lake came to our city this week and remained sev eral days transacting business. The Milford Plumbing and Supply Sup-ply Company, have two big contracts in Minersville. on which they are working. Henry Baker and J. M. Cottrell left Friday night for a visit of several weeks in Los Angeles'., It is hoped the change of altitude will benefit Mrs. Cottrell's health. Corp. F. D. Cannon of the 1st U. S. Cates' of the Delta Del-ta Land and Water company and one. a Chummy Chandler for "Dr. Swan-son. Swan-son. Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Payne left Saturday night to spend a month on their ranch near Yale, before moving to the Palmer ranch south of Milford. Mr. Payne has the contract con-tract for -the wells on the Palmer place. Milford business men have been receiving some large freight ship- iments this week. Sherwood Bros, have unloaded a car of tile for the Milford Plumbing Company, a car of sugar for the Jefferson Mercantile I Company, and the hard wood flooring floor-ing for the new Kesler-Higgins picture pic-ture house. A queer coincidence is noted in" i the return of three soldier boys this week. Sgts. Mitchel and Harry Coon and Elmer Hardy enlisted and left Milford together April 15th, 1917. 'None of the boys have ever been jhome on a furlough. They were separated sep-arated soon after getting to camp and Hardy never saw the Coon boys ; again until Monday night, when all Ithree returned home. . A. H. Dahle, formerly proprietor -of the Kit-Kat. now superintendent of the Bonanza mines at Lexington, j Nevada, was in Milford Monday and ! Tuesday, getting supplies from the : local stores and attending to busl-1 busl-1 ness matters. In talking to Mr. Dahle. we find there is quite a dif- l ference in the snowfall around Mil-iford Mil-iford and Lexington. When he went to the latter place about six weeks ago. there was 54 inches of snow on ;the ground. About two feet of that |
