Show SUPPORT HOME INDUSTRIES. TO the newspapers of the country belongs be-longs a great share of the credit for carrying to successful conclusion the national na-tional defense features, which were an imperative" necessity at this time. Without newspapers it would have been almost impossible to have given proper publicity to the Conscription act, the Liberty Lib-erty Loan and the Red Cross work. National patriotism lurnishes enthusiasm for this work. Now comes another task on the successful success-ful prosecution of which depends the very life of our nation. Our industries must be kept going and encouraged. We should all aid the government to the extent of our financial ability, many of us must enlist or furnish sons to enlist, we must all support the Red Cross and on top of this we must keep the wheels of industry in-dustry turning. Without business we will soon be short of funds so necessary for the support of the cause. Now is the time to leave no stone unturned un-turned to encourage our industrial development. |
