The Paris (France) post of the American Legion has started a drive for a five million-franc endowment fund with which to meet the demand made upon it daily by ex-service men who are stranded, and liy their families. famil-ies. The Paris post is obviously barred from utilizing the usual method of raising funds by entertainment for the community, and has been forced to appeal ap-peal to the outside.
