Show :. RED CROSS MEETING There was a meeting of the executive exec-utive committee of the Red Cross held yesterday afternoon. As Mrs. Heber Hanks is soon to leave for California, she resigned as chairman of the supply committee and the other members of the committee, Mrs. George Jefferson and Mrs. Hunter, Hun-ter, withdrew at the same time. The following enlarged committee was appointed: Mrs. A. M. McPherson, chairman; Mrs. D. A. Baxter, Mrs. Ed. Bardsley, Mrs. Eb. Tanner, Mrs. J. A. Ingols, Mrs. W. F. Cottrell. The thanks of the committee was extended to Mr. Siewert for neat signs and other painting done entirely entire-ly free of charge, and to Mr. Mcln-tyre Mcln-tyre for a table built for the headquarters. head-quarters. A box of supplies was received a few days since including $50 worth of yarn, some muslin and knitting supplies. The sewing units are now busy making hospital garments. |
