Show Which Family Is It ? A Certain Household in Milford Not on Our Mailing List Boys and Girls May Earn Rewards by Finding Out Last week the NEWS promised to have a contest for the boys and girls. Iu the mispelled word contest, Mis Nina Thiessen won the box of candy by first finding and reporting the woi d "serenade" mispelled iu "Bill and Bill's" display advertisement. In the search for the grammatical error on a sign iu a certain store in Milford, no one has, up to press time, claimed the box of candy. What's tho matter with tome of our folks with the trained eyes and quick perception? The sign is plainly exhibited and the error is there. Another week will be allowed some one to pick it up. Now, this contest for the boya and g.rls will take some hustling. Somewhere Some-where in Milford there is a family which does not subscribe to the NEWS. This may sound exaggerated hut it is the truth, nevertheless. The NEWS will write the name of this family, on a slip of paper, place it iu an envelope, seal the envelope ana deposit the same with the bank of Milford, net to be opened till noon of the 3rd day of July, at which time the contest clones. To the boy or girl who hands iu the paid subscription to the NEWS for one year, of the family, whose name appears in the envelope, th9 NEWS will present ?3 in cash and to the boy or girl who brings iu the largest number num-ber of paid yearly subscriptions to the . NEWS, aside from Ihe winner of first i prize, we will present $2 in CHsh. : Awards will be made at the High School on July 4th. Paid renewals will count the same , as new subscriptions.
