Show Mrs. C. F. Decker returned home Saturday of last week from a visit of several days in Salt Lake City, where she received medical attention. Mrs. Charles DeKose and little grandson, Lai.nlo Devine, were here from C';flar City the latter part of last week for a visit with the former's son and daughterin-law, daughterin-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dick DcRose, and with some of the many friends the family made while residents ol Milford. Mrs. J. H. Weston was hostess to members of -her bridge club and guests Thursday evening of last week. Those present were Mrs. E. L. Smith, Mrs. J. 11. Murdock, Mrs. David S. Williams, Mrs. George Moore, Mrs. R. J. Magill, Mrs. F. A. Bingham and Mrs. Charlotte Smyth. The high points prize was received by Mrs. Smith and the high honors by Mrs. Murdock, while Mrs. Williams received the consolation prize and Mrs. Smyth and Mrs. Bingham the guest prize. V Mrs. Gene Kirk left Saturday afternoon for a visit of several weeks in southern California with her children and other relatives and friends. Attorney and Mrs. Sam Cline, accompanied by Mr. Cline's mother, mo-ther, Mrs. I. Cline, returned home from S'alt Lake City Friday, after a few days spent in the capital city. i Mrs. J. F. Tribole returned Saturday of last week from a visit of several days at Lonj Beach, California. She was accompanied home by Mrs. Jane Moore, mother of Mr. Tribole, who will visit in Utah during the summer. Ben S. Hillman, operator at the A. T. & T. relay station, has been appointed as a member of the Mil-ford Mil-ford town board of trustees to take the place of Jay Christensen, who was inducted into army service ser-vice some time ago. Mr. Hillman already has demonstrated a healthy interest in community littterment and the town board is to be complimented for selecting him for a place on the board. Mrs; Eugene Pitchforth entertained enter-tained members of her bridge club Wednesday evening. Those present pre-sent were Mrs. Kenneth Hollis, Mrs. James Smithson, Mrs. J. S. Rickerson, Mts. Dick Jones, Mrs. William Morris, Mrs. George Moore and Mrs. Paul Crosby. The bridge prizes were received by Mrs. Morris for high points and by Mrs. Pitchforth for high honors, while Mrs. Moore received the guest prize and Mrs. Hollis the consolation prize. Mrs. Morris also was awarded the house prize. Mrs. L. B. Waddingham entertained enter-tained in honor of the 12th birthday birth-day of her daughter, Jewell, from 0:30 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday o last week. Games were played and refreshments served to the following guests: Geniel Tanner, Lois Atkin, Cherie Ashworth, Ra Vonne MtoKnight, Mar Jean ' Whit-taker, Whit-taker, Vonda O'Leary, Bonnie Baxter, Thelma Talancon, Eunice and Mary Robinson, Earl Horton, Melvine Myers, Gaylord Jones, Donald Jones and Bobby Wright. Many nice gifts were received by the guest of honor. Mrs. Harold Cline entertained members of her bridge club Thurs-j day of last week, with the f irss, j second and third high score prizes! being won by Mrs. Lloyd Kohler, Mrs. Cline and Mrs. Vic Carlson, j respectively. Others present were Mrs. Robert Burger, Mrs. Del! Mc-1 Donald, Mrs. K. B. Coon, Mrs. Ben Hillman and Mrs. Xina Burger. The Ella Stancliff Past Noble Grands culb entertained Wednesday, Wednes-day, May 9, at the home of Mrs. Asenath Pool, honoring Mrs. Martha Armstrong. A dinner was served to the members, after which a short business meeting was held, the remainder of the time being enjoyed visiting. Those present were Mrs. Sadie Litchfield, Mrs. Sadie Griffiths, Mrs. Dora Johnson, John-son, Mrs. Dora Casterline, Mrs. Bertha Cottrell, Mrs. Cree Elmer, Mrs. Jennie Martin, Mrs. Verda Smith, Mrs. Selma Carlson, Mrs. Vena Wilson, Mrs. Virginia U'Ren, Mrs. Pool and Mrs. Armstrong.
