Show SOUTH MILFORD Bruce Messinger celebrated his sixth birthday October 28 at the home of Miss Janette Gillins. Cake, ice cream and candy were served to the following little tots: Dale and Dorothy Myers and Jane Carter of Minersville, Jeanette Gillins, Richard and Dorothy Fisher, Fish-er, Helen Heslington, Mel and Kent Myers and Harold Sweener of Milford. Nola Sly is recovering from heart trouble and has not been able to attend school for several weeks. Dee Wayne Stahl has been on the sick list for a few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer spent one day in Cedar City on business. i Mrs. Roldo Turner is visiting in Los Angeles. i Miss Gae LeFevre is staying at the Roldo Turner home and taking the bus to Milford to school. Mrs. William Baker spent a few days last week visiting in Beaver. Mrs. Kent Smith entertained the Community club Saturday, November No-vember 4. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gospill, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight,' Mrs. Kate Heslington, Hes-lington, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Weber and the hostess. The evening was spent playing "500", after which delicious refreshments were served. serv-ed. Mrs. Jake Weber and Mrs. Charles Allred entertained the Social Hour club November 2 but very few members were present. This makes it bad when the hostesses host-esses have prepared for the full number enrolled, so let's all go to Social Hour club on the first and third Thursdays of each month. |
