Show Bar Meeting Is Held At Beaver A meeting of the Fifth Judicial District Bar association was held at the Low hotel in Beaver Mon-j Mon-j day evening, October 24. About j l 16 of the lawyers of the district, i i besides Judge Hoyt and Mr. Kel-1 ler, the court reporter, were present pre-sent at a dinner. The meeting was called for the purpose of meeting with W. Q. VanCott and Lee M. Cummings,! the president and secretary, respectively, res-pectively, of the Utah State Bar; and for the further purpose of electing a president and secretary of the Fifth Judicial District Bar association. Many matters of proposed legislation legis-lation were discussed at the meeting, meet-ing, including the measure for a non-partisan judiciary. This measure, mea-sure, it is understood, will be presented pre-sented to the legislature by a committee com-mittee of the Utah State Bar. I Sam Cline was reelected presi-j I dent and R. J.
