Show Palace of Czars TTnchangefl Pushkin village, formerly Tsar-koye Tsar-koye Selo, outside Leningrad, affords af-fords an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the czars of Russia. In Catherine's palace may be seen the rooms In which the late royalty lived until the Russian revolution. Such elaborate chambers as the Amber room, the walls of which are completely encrusted with amber, and the ball room with Its magnificent magnif-icent decorations, are interesting. In the palaces at Pushkin everything every-thing remains exactly the same as when the imperial family left for Tobolsk. |
