Show Miss Delia Labrum, beauty shop operator, was called to Salt Lake City last week-end on account of the serious illlness of her father. Mrs. M. P. Lewis and Mrs. Freda Outzen huve returned from Cedar City, where they recently underwent major operations. Both are reported doing nicely. Richard Jefferson, young son of Mr. and Mrs. George Jefferson, who is attending a boys school near Palo Alto, California, arrived arriv-ed in Milford Tuesday to spend the Christmas vacation with home folks. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Frazier is & friend of Mrs. Frazier, Mrs. E. H. Eaton of Buena Vista, Colorado. Mr. Eaton is employed as a carpenter in the construction of a mill at the Cougar mine fluorspar development. develop-ment. Mrs. Jim Brannon was hostess to members of her "500" club Wednesday evening, with the high score prize going to Mrs. Alvin Skillicorn, consolation prize to Mrs. Ross Patterson and the traveling prize to Mrs. Charles! McCulley. Others present were Mrs. Wayne Lyman, Mrs. Pete ; Banks, Mrs. Eddie Leech, Mrs. Vance Fisher. Mrs. Robert Tom- j sik, Mrs. Georee Xowers, Mrs. Don Young and Mrs. Dick Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Arnold are rejoicing owr the arrival of a fine bi'.hy rirl, born to them December IT. A girl also was born to Mr. 1 nd Mrs. Ernest Myers of South Milford on December 14 and a baby boy to Mr. and Mrs. P rley Allen on December 1-1. Honoring Mrs. Jayne Johnson of Glendale, California, a former Milford resident, Mrs. Harold Cline entertained at & tea Friday afternoon of last week. Those present were Mrs. Elwood Jefferson, Jeffer-son, Mrs. Lloyd Kohler, Mrs. Carl Yount, Mrs. Donald Sege-rstrom, Mrs. H. V. Carlson and Miss Freda Koch. The Big Four Bridge club members mem-bers met at the home of Mrs. Harry Garfield Monday evening. Those present were Mrs. J. P. Holm, Mrs. Fay Bradfield, Mrs. George Moore, Mrs. Lloyd Lee, Mrs. Ronald.. Banks, Mrsv J. E. Moore, Mrs. Clifford Shingleton and Mrs. Ray Mills. The prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. Holm for high points and Mrs. Bradfield for high honors while Mrs. George Moore received the consolation prize. A number of women friends met at the home of Mrs. 0. A. Steen-bock Steen-bock Saturday evening of last week to help her ' celebrate her birthday. Bridge was played and dainty refreshments were served by Mrs. Steenbock. Those present were Mrs. William Morris, Mrs. Vem Shingleton, Mrs. J. P. Holm, Mrs. Dan James, Mrs. Ronald Banks, Mrs. Glen Blames and Mrs. Rose Allen, a sister of Mrs. Steen-bcck, Steen-bcck, who is visiting here from Baker, Oregon. Mrs. Lloyd F. Kohler entertained entertain-ed her bridge club members and guests at her home Wednesday night. Christinas gifts were exchanged ex-changed by those present who included in-cluded Mrs. K. B. Ooon, Mrs. R. W. Acheson, Mrs. George Jefferson, Jeffer-son, Mrs. H. V. Carlson, Mrs. A. A. Mclntyne, Mrs. Lamar Outzen and Mrs. A. L. McDoniald. The bridge prizes were won by Mrs. Outzen for first high score, Mrs. Mclntyre for second high score and Mrs. McDonald for third high score. The annual Christmas party of the Bridgadier club was held at the home of Mrs. 0. R. Smith last Friday qvening. An apron shower also was given for Mrs. O. A. Steenbock, honoring her birthday. Those present were Mrs. Ross Baxter, Mrs. William Morris, Mrs. O. A. Steenbock, Mrs. J. P. Holm, Mrs. Vern Shingleton, Mrs. Floren Bingham, Mrs. Arthur Connell, and Mrs. C. F. Allen. The prizes at bridge were received by Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Steenbock and Mrs. Shingleton. Mrs. William Morris entertained entertain-ed members of her bridge club and guests Tuesday evening , at a Christmas party. A hot luncheon was served and after cards gifts were exchanged by those present. Favors at the luncheon' tables were Santai Claus candles. Those present were Mrs. Gene Pitch-forth, Pitch-forth, Mrs. Kenneth Hollis Mrs. Mack Gillins, Mrs. Dick Jones, Mrs. Glen Barnes, Mrs. Des Hickman, Hick-man, Mrs. David S. Williams, Mrs. 'George Moore, Mrs. James Smith-son, Smith-son, Mrs. Eddie Leech and Mrs. Pete Banks.
