Show Christmas Party Held Mrs. Metto Weston, Mrs. Jane Bowen and Mrs. Carlie Waddoups were hostesses at the American Legion Auxiliary Christmas party Monday evening, December 20, at the community center. A short business meeting was held and Mrs. Ed Bardsley, Mrs. Mary Reed, Mrs. Morgan Griffiths and Mrs. Lanney were initiated as new members into the Auxiliary. Milford Mil-ford Unit No. 16 this year won the state prize for membership, hav-! hav-! ing 158 of their quota1. A prize of $10 was awterded them from the state department. The secretary Was instructed to order the American Ameri-can Legion poppies early this year, because of the increased de-nicnd de-nicnd for them. Delicious refreshments were sevfed, the tables being decorated with a Christmas motif. Gifts were exchanged by the members after which bridge wr.s played. |
