Show . I William and Frank Tribole returned re-turned .Monday from a week's visit in southern California. Miss Marjorie Casterline returned return-ed Sunday from her summer's employment em-ployment at Bryce Canyon lodge. Mrs. George Fernley and son George left Wednesday for Baker, California, where they will reside this winter. Mr. and Mrs. Xoel E. Hoblitt, former residents of Milford, were week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cline. Mr. and Mrs. Brunelle Outzen and baby son Gary were down from Tooele for a week-end visit with Mr. Outzen's mother, Mrs. Freda Outzen. Former Senator George Jefferson Jeffer-son left Sunday for Salt Lake City for the sixth annual convention conven-tion and exposition of the western division, American Mining congress. con-gress. Miss Isabell Stark and Miss Helen Crooks of Salt Lake were quests at the D. S. Williams home the first of the week. They were enroute on a vacation trip to the southern Utah parks. Miss Stark is a niece of Mrs. Williams. Mrs. E. L. Smith had as her house guests during the week-end Mr. and Mrs. Everett H. Locke and Miss Miriam Harlow of Boston, Mass. Mrs. Locke and Mrs. Smith were very close friends while Mrs. Smith was studying music in Boston. Bos-ton. Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Roberts and two children of Van Nuys, California, Califor-nia, arrived in Milford ;Sunday. 'hey are guests at the home of Mrs. Robert's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Kirk, and will visit here until after the-fair. Mrs. Roberts will be remembered as Maxine Kirk, popular Milford girl. Mr. and Mrs. William Cochrane jr. arrived in Milford Saturday night from several weeks visit in Idaho. They are guests at the William Cochrane home for a few days enroute to their home in Walnut, Wal-nut, 'California. Bob Cheatham accompanied the Cochrans down from Salt Lake and will be in Milford Mil-ford for an indefinite period. Mrs. George Jefferson was hostess host-ess to her bridge club Tuesday night, with Mtrs. A. B. Gilliam winning first high score prize, Mrs. Rupert Ingram second high score prize and Mrs. Thomas G-er-rard consolation prize. Others present pre-sent were Mrs. Harold Cline, Mrs. K. B. Coon, Mrs. W. H. Post and Mrs. Fred Paschal. |
