Show Mr. ami Mrs. Eddie Leech, their' daughter Patsy, and son Ward, left Tuesday for southern California Califor-nia for a vacation trip of two weeks. ! Mrs. Eddie Leech entertained ! members of her "500" club Friday I of last week. Among those present pre-sent were Mrs. Robert Tomsik, Mrs. Vance Fisher, Mrs. Douglas Gilliam, Mrs. Wayne Lyman, Mrs. Lawrence Easton, Mrs. Charles McCulley, Mrs. David Reese, Mrs. Don Young, Mrs. Jim Brannon, Mrs. Julian Arnold and Mrs. Mel Heslington of Beaver. Mrs. James Smithson entertained entertain-ed members of her bridge club at a Christmas party Tuesday night, at which time the guests exchanged exchang-ed Christmas gifts. After a delicious de-licious luncheon bridge was played. Those present were Mrs. Eugene Pitchforth, Mrs. D. N. Hickman, Mrs. J. S. Rickei-son, Mrs. Kenneth Hollis, Mrs. Dick Jones, Mrs. Glen Barnes, Mrs. Freda Outzen and Mrs. William Morris. Mrs. G. C. Cuddy entertained members of the Big Four Bridge club Wednesday night. Those present pre-sent were Mrs. Vein Shingleton, Mrs. Fay Bradfield, Mrs. Lloyd Lee, Mrs. Harry Garfield, Mrs. J. P. Holm, Mrs. Ronald Banks and Mrs. George Moore. The prizes at cards were received by Mrs. Shingleton for high points and Mrs. Bradfield for high honors, while Mrs. Lee received the consolation con-solation pri;:e. Members of the Thursday Night Bridge club were entertained by Mrs. George Moore December 14. Those present were Mrs. E. L. Smith, Mrs. -Gene Kirk, Mrs. R. J. Magill, Mrs. J. H. Weston, Mrs. David S. Williams, Mrs. J. M. Williams Wil-liams and Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen. The prizes were awarded Mrs. Magill Ma-gill for high points and Mrs. Kirk for high honors, while Mrs. J. M. Williams received the consolation prize. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Fisher were host and hostess Tuesday evening to members of the Couples Five Hundred club. After a hot supper cards were enjoyed. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Roldo Turner, Mir. and Mrs. Dick Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tomsik, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Willis Whibbeck. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen were the winners of the high score prizes while Mrs. Turner and Mr. Tomsik received the consolation' prize. Mrs. H. A. McKenzie gave a birthday party last week at Min-ersville Min-ersville for Mr. McKenzie, well-known well-known local mining man. The time was passed playing "500", with high score prizes being won by Mrs. Ellis LeFevre and G. W. Carter while the consolation prizes went 'to Mrs. Ireta Albrecht of Milford and S. D. Williams. A dainty lunch was served to Mr. and Mrs. LeFevre, Mr. and Mrs. Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Albrecht, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hall. V |
