FiJ? of' e MiUord -New f I " 1 " Fifteen years ago. thia week Walter Weber and LeRoy Luken had been appointed by the South Milford Community club to take up the matter of gTaveling a piece of road one mile south of the bridge near Milford and for one-hilf one-hilf mile east on the road from the Cates corner to the Beaver highway. The rabbit hunt held by Milford sportsmen had been a complete success, with Danny Davis' team winning- the hunt, with 343 rabbits rab-bits being killed by his group, while Spencer Schow's team killed 28fi rabbits. Danny was high man, having bagged 40 rabbits alone. The losing side sponsored a big dance and luncheon of sandwiches, coffee and doughnuts. The following Minersville men had been called as home missionaries mission-aries to labor in the ward: Joseph Eyre, Moroni Myers, Heber Gillins, Earl Thompson, Lester Roberts and H. F. Baker. iMrs. R. B. Young and small daughters, Patsy and Joan, had joined Mr. Young at Cedar City, where they were to make their home. Mrs. J. H. Weston and children had gone to Lynndyl to make their home. Mel Heslington, of the high school faculty, was out again after being in quarintine for scarlet fever. V |
