Mr. and Mrs. A. 0. Hardy of Minersville had spent Sunday with Mrs. M. 0. Hardy. There had been born to Mr. and Mrs. William Bond on December 20, a baby girl. Mrs. George Moore had spent the week with relatives in Salt Lake. Ray and Floyd Casterline had r spent Christmas in Salt Lake with relatives. Tho Service Star Legion had given a program on December 31. Those taking' part had been Mrs. Woodbury, instrumental music; Karl S. Carlton, address; Mrs. William Dobson, vocal selection; Mrs. Julia A. Smithson, reading; Mrs. Ann Grimshaw, vocal selection; selec-tion; Miss Aliene Miller, reading; Mrs. George Atkin, instrumental music. There had' been born, on December De-cember 29, to Mr. and Mrs. Stan Fotheringham, a girl. A Christmas entertainment had been given by the L. D. S. church Christmas eve with the following taking part: Bishop! Bird, ward choir, Superintendent H. H. Pitch-forth, Pitch-forth, kindergarten class under the direction of Miss Winnie Fernley, Hellen Bird and Ardars Johnson. Mrs. Fay Hickman had entertained enter-tained at her home with a card party. Those present ha;l been Mrs. Susie Smith, Mrs. Jennie Smith, Mrs. Burley Kirk, Mrs. Joe Smith, Mrs. Gene Kirk, Mrs. Des Hickman, : Mrs. Cameron Arring-ton, Arring-ton, Mrs. Van Hickman and Mrs. Dorothy Hickman. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Bird had entertained the following guests at their home: Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Pitchforth and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Arrington.
