"""" We are sorry to lose them be cause they have been nice to us Kentucky boys. Jeff with his magic has supplied sup-plied the boys with much laughter and was always willing to take part in all camp programs. "Pep" has also been C C C reporter re-porter for the Milford News. Basketball The C C C team opened the season sea-son Saturday night in basketball with the M-Men team of Milford, with a score of 39-17, in favor of I the M-Men. The fast breaking! M-Men team appeared to have had too much practice for our camp team, who previously had but two nights practice. The camp team has plenty of material and i with sufficient coaching and prac-: tice should have a winning team. Even though they lost by a large score they were fighting throughout through-out the game. Van Petty, former first cook of, this company and now a member! of Company 1966, Zions N'ationalj park, was our guest on Monday, December 30, We were very glad to have Van with us for he was very popular with the boys hero. Trip to Reaver Canyon On December 20 most of the boys of the camp made a very interesting trip to Beaver canyon. They reported a nice time and plenty of mountain climbing. Most of the boys saw their first wild deer, also lots of other thing3 of interest not accustomed to in Kentucky. Christmas Vacations Most everyone has returned from their Christmas vacations. Captain James M. Walker spent the holidays in Salt Lake City. Educational Adviser A. B. Olsen spent Christmas at his home in Logan and Dr. Arvin also spent Christmas in Salt Lake City.
