Show Hot Weather Hits Us Milford has been given a real taste of hot weather this past week with 102 registered as the maximum maxi-mum Wednesday for the hottest day of the year. Other maximum and minimum recording at the airways radio station during the past week, as furnished The News through the courtesy of George S. Morris, operator in charge, are as follows: Saturday, 17th, 94 and GO; Sunday, 94 ami 59; Monday, 9(1 and 53; Tuesday 101 and 55; Wednesday, 102 and 51; Thursday, 100 and G4. Nearly always cool in Milford as soon as the sun goes down, no matter mat-ter how hot the day, Wednesday evening was an exception, with the only breeze a hot one from the west and continuing warm almost all niht. This unusual condition i.s duly recorded in the minimum figures for the 22nd, which show that the mercury didn't get down Wlow 04 the night before, when the minimum figures are recorded.! |
