Show I .4C LOOKING BACXW"' 4'itleen years ago this week J 4 Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cottrell hadj entertained at a Thanksgiving day! dinner with the guests including I Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cook, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell, Jessie Walter j and Howard Cook, Mr. and Mrs. 1 Joe Tribole, Mrs. C. W. Stewart,! Fred Cottrell and Mr. and Mrs. William Gray. Miss Delia Maude Cottrell and William Gray were married November No-vember 22, 1921, at the home of the brides' parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell. A big wedding supper and reception was given the young couple. They were to make their home in Milford. The K. K. club had given a very successful masked ball with Mrs. C. J. Mclntire, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. W. H. Elmer, Mrs. H. M. Gourley and Mrs. R. E. Parsons on the committee. The G. I. A. ladies had met with Mrs. Otto Steenbock at a quilting bee. Those present were Mesdames E. C. Blanpied, J. Frizzell, Grover Cuddy, J. C. Jeffers, C. W. Christiansen, Chris-tiansen, E. A. Olson and John Kil-lam. Kil-lam. Frank Williams of Minersville had spent a day in town and had lunches at the Home cafe. During dinner hour he had sang several musical selections. Mrs. Faye Hickman and Mrs. C. A. Arrington entertained at the Kirk home with a shower for Mrs. Gene Kirk. 500 was played and luncheon was 'served to the following: follow-ing: Mesdames Joe Kinney, J. Weston, Joe Smith, Joe Hickman, Del Etaffm, Myron Lewis, James Tanner, Clarence Mclntire, John Kirk, Charles Crawford, Charles Beard, William Frazer, James Patterson, Pat-terson, Rose Smith, Jennie Smith and Miss Ida Crawford. John Kirk had been appointed city marshal. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Tanner and daughter Lillian, and Adella Kin--ney, went to Salt Lake to see Clyde Tanner, who was in the hospital there. There had been born to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Theissen on November 19, 1921, a ten pound baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Moore had purchased the Gourley home. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Fouraier had entertained at an old fashioned Thanksgiving- dinner at their home at the Telluride power station. Those from Milford attending were Dr. Addison Bybee, and Ex-Sehvice men Luken, Greenwood, Evans, Outzen, Casterline, Cline and Terry. A dancing party was enjoyed at the Kit-Kat Thanksgiving eve with a banquet at the Atkin hotel. The party was given by ten gentlemen of our city including Messrs. Sam Cline, Floyd Casterline, J. H. Greenwood, Earle Lynch, Oren Evans, Jess Outzen, Wallace Outzen, Out-zen, Harry Ward, L. R. Fournier and Al Hillary. |
