Show Minersville G.O.P. Wins With division in the municipal election along straight party lines and the community staying strong to its traditional Republicanism, Minersville will have a straight G. O. P. administration for the next biennium after a two-year period of mixed administration. The winning Republican ticket consists of Truman liollins, incumbent incum-bent president of the town board, who received 104 votes against Truman Bradfield's 32; KandelL Banks 99, John Kelsey 90, Glen McKnight 88, and Obra Myers 74, for trustees; running against James Dotson 38, Frank Pryr 33, Clinton Thompson 51 and Floyd Woods CO, running on the Democratic Demo-cratic ticket. That the "ins" had strong prestige pres-tige with the voters over the "outs" and that the own is pretty well satisfied with the administration administra-tion "as is", is shown by the strength developed by Thompson iand Woods, members of the present pres-ent mixed board. Rollins, Bank3 and Kelsey are the Republican members of the present board. |
