Show I Benefit Play Is Well Presented Though the attendance was not what it should have been considering consider-ing the play, the very fine presentation presen-tation and the hard work done by , those who took part and otherwise other-wise assisted, Monday evenings showing of "The Bachelor's Wife" left nothing to be desired and ;Milford's junior league baseball team, sponsored by the local Le- ; gion post, is assured of a fair ( amount of finances to start the ! season. Members of the cast were Doug ' Moore, Harry Smurthwaite, Ina : Smith, Walter E. Martin, Mildred Killam, Eva Stonehocker, J. Cass Root, Gladys Martin, Bobby Nichols Nich-ols and Baby Sally Killam. All parts were well taken and helped to make for the very succes.-fu! ' presentation as a whole. The play was managed by Mr. Root, who also has been placed in ; charge of the junior league team. Miss Mildred Killam directed and I. X. Hickman assisted with the lighting effects, Mrs. J. R. Mur-d-ick jr. with the making-up, and Mrs. Rudolph Xiels-en with the staging. |
