C. G. Haskell had been in Cedar j City, where he purchased 55000 pounds of alfalfa seed which he shipped to St. Louis. About 300,-! 300,-! 000 pounds of alfalfa seed had been raised in Beaver Bottoms and South Milford. There had been born to Mr. and Mrs. E. Campell, a 9f-pound baby girl. Mrs. Kent Smith had been hostess host-ess to the Social Hour club in South Milford. Those enjoying the afternoon were Mrs. Frank Gospill, Mrs. Bert Ryssman, Mrs. Adam Patterson, Miss Gladys Gospill, Mrs. Horace Elmer, Mrs. Joe Hickman, Mrs. Walter Cook, Mrs. Georfre Stanley Mrs. William Wil-liam Cates, Mrs. Walter Weber, Mrs. Charles Baxter, Mrs. George Brown, Mrs. J. B. Weber, Mrs. James Griffiths and Mrs. Abe Hesling-ton. Those purchasing new cars in Milford during the week had been Reuben Jones, Charles E. Moore. John Banks and D. X. Nott. Mrs. W. F. Cottrell had returned return-ed home after spending two months with her sister in Portland, Port-land, Oregon. A dinner had been given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Fother-ingham Fother-ingham to celebrate the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Fotheringham sr. of Beaver. Miss Ardath Johnson had entertained enter-tained the P. H. club and two tables of guests at a "500" party. Those present were Mrs. A. Johnson, John-son, Mrs. Walter Weber, Mrs. George Stanley, Mrs. Fred Levi,1 Mrs. Ray Outzen, Mrs. William Fernley, Mrs. W. 0. Carlson, Mrs. M. H. Pool, Miss Louise Levi, Miss Bessie Killam, Mrs. C. Ford, Mrs. L. G. Clay, Mrs. Ross Smith, Mrs. Jack McKeon, .Mrs. Joe Smith, Mrs. Maurice Johnson and Mrs. Ralph Quayle. The M. G. club had been entertained enter-tained at the home of Mrs. Bel-lingmo. Korns had entertained the ladies of the Eastern Star at a silver tea. Those present were Mrs. D. R. Mrs. Charles Parrish had entertained enter-tained members of the Saturday-Dinner Saturday-Dinner Bridge club and a few invited in-vited guests at a Sunshine and Gloom party.
