Show Friends Shocked By Sudden Death Friends throughout the community com-munity were immeasurably shocked shock-ed the first of the week by the sudden death Monday afternoon of Mrs. Charles V. Baxter, SS, for 10 years a respected resident of Mil-f Mil-f ir.!. Death occurred at I oclock and was diirnosed as due to cere-bra! cere-bra! hemorrhage. Funeral services are being held this Thursday afternoon af-ternoon in the local I.. D. S. chapel, chap-el, with interment to take place in the Milford cemetery under the direction of the Southern Utah mortuary. Minnie Ellen Elliker Baxter was born in Cedar City March IS, 1SS2. a daughter of Henry and Marie Elliker. She was married to Mr. Baxter in November, 1!H)2, in Milford, having come here some time previously. Surviving Mr. Baxter are her husband and the following children: chil-dren: Harold, Max and Gertrude Baxter, all of Milford, and Norman Nor-man Baxter, with the United" States navy at Honolulu, T. H. Six grandchildren also survive the deceased, together with the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Mrs. Barbara Sheutt, Mrs. James Fisher Fish-er an,! John Flliker. nil nf Cedar City; and Mrs. John Dover and Mrs. Charles Dover of Los Angeles. An-geles. California. Mrs. Baxter was known as a devoted de-voted wife and mother and the members of the family have the deep sympathy of the entire community. |
