Show M Sulphurdale Miner & Dies From Injuries After being crushsd. Saturday at the sulphur mine at Sulphur-dale, Sulphur-dale, 18 miles north of Beaver. Lloyd Therus Muir, 33, died in the Milford hospital Sunday at 2 a.m.' His body was taken to Beaver for funeral services and burial on Wednesday. j Mr. Muir was riding an ore car to the ore pit when the brake failed to work, according to a control con-trol man. The control workman shouted a warning to Mr. Muir, but the speeding ore car crushed him against the pit before he had time to jump. He was brought to the Milford hospital, where physicians reported report-ed he suffered a crushed chest and internal injuries. Mr. Muir was born at Beaver, December 26, 1907, a son of William Wil-liam J. and Mary Ellen Bradshaw Muir. He married Maurine An-J derson of Elsinore, June 3, 1933; at Beaver. His wife and three daughters, also his parents and two brothers and three sisters,' survive him. ' |
