Show Fish & Game Club I In Annual Meeting ! Last year's officer personnel and I directorate of the Beaver County Fish and Game club were reelected : for 193S at the regular annual ! meeting of the organization, held j Sunday in the lobby of the Fir- mage theatre at Beaver. The of-i of-i ficers are as follows: President, I Stan Tattersall, vice-president, ! Ambrose Baraclough; secretary- treasurer, Harry Diehl; directors, W. A. Firmage, Fergus Willden and Grant Tolton of Beaver and Willis Whitbeck and W. B. Gardner Gard-ner of Milford. I William Sorenson, manager of j the Glenwood fish hatchery, and I Ben Turpin, deputy state warden, j were present at the meeting as 1 representatives of State Commis-! Commis-! sioner Newell B. Cook and both ! spoke briefly. j The matter of an earlier open-! open-! ing of Ken'.s lake, probably at the ! time of opening streams and bod-i bod-i ies of water below 7000 feet ele-j ele-j vat ion, was brought to the atten-I atten-I tion of the club and will probably 1 be recommended to the state office. of-fice. This earlier opening and a possible midsummer closing if the water goes bad, seems desirable if the fishing afforded by this very fine body of water is to be made the most of. |
