Show Contract, Lease Let At Honey Boy I With the award of a contract for 100 feet of work in what is known as the lower tunnel and a lease to ethers covering work in the No. 2 workings, the Honey Boy mine, wellknown for several years as a mining property that may well become another Horn Silver mine, promises to be the scene of considerable activity throughout the summer. The property is located lo-cated high up in the mountains east of Milford. Contract for the 100 feet of work in the lower tunnel was let Saturday night to Harold Baxter, experienced local miner, according to George Jefferson, secretary-treasurer secretary-treasurer of the Honey Boy Mining Min-ing company. With him will be associated two others, with more to be employed as the work progresses. pro-gresses. The lease has been let to A. T. Anderson and Frank W. Bengter, who, it is understood, have been associated together as leasors at the Moscow mine. Others will be associated with Anderson An-derson and Bengter in prosecution of work under their lease, but their names are not available. The Honey Boy mine, a silver-gold silver-gold property recognized by expert ex-pert mining men and geologists as one of the most promising mines in the state, now has more ore in sight than at any time in its history his-tory and, with fully 1500 feet of development work to be done this season, there is every reason to believe that the mine will come into its own within the next few months.
