Show I u Former Milford Boy Weds Berkeley Girl From the Nevada City (California) (Califor-nia) Daily Sun we learn of the recent marriage of Harry F. Jefferson, Jef-ferson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jefferson of Nevada City, former residents of Milford. The California Califor-nia paper says, in part: "At 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, August 15, at the home of the bride's parents in Berkeley, Elizabeth Eliza-beth Bird Wolfe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Wolfe, became fhe bride of Harry F. Jefferson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jefferson of Nevada City. The Reverend J. B. Orr of the Fruitvale Congregational Congrega-tional church performed the ceremony. cere-mony. Mrs. U. Breilk sang, "Because" "Be-cause" and Charles Cox, Santa Barbara organist, uncle of the bride, played Mendelssohn's wed-i'ing wed-i'ing march. "The bride descended the stairs and entered the living room on the arm of her father. Mrs. James W. Wadsworth, sister of the bride, was her only attendant. James i Pollard of Hollywood, was best man. j "The bride wore a beige wool crepe .costume suit with mulberry j accessories with an orchid on her shoulder. "The living room was decorated with peach and white gladioli, I white asters, white snapdragon j and sweetpeas, an altar in front of the fireplace had tall baskets of peach gladioli and tall white tapers were lighted during the ceremony.
