Show SOUTH MILFORD J iMrs. Marion Rollins is visiting relatives at Sutter Greek, California. Cali-fornia. Mr. and Mrs. Watts of Kanosh, who have been here for the past three months with their daughter, Mrs. Leonard Bowen, revurned home last week. Mrs. Bowen accompanied ac-companied them home for a short visit. A kitchen shower was given by a group of South Milford farm women at the club house last Wednesday night for Mrs. Oz Myers, nee Loretra Gibbons, of the Farm Security Administration office at Beaver. The evening was spent in playing "Bunco" after which delicious refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Myers received many useful gifts. Hyrum Steffen, our county agent, held a farm meeting last Friday night at the club house. The main discussion was on pastures. pas-tures. Mrs. W. J. Baker attended the birthday dinner of her brother, William L. Hutchings, at Beaver Thursday night. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Hughes of Los Angeles, California, arrived Sunday morning to visit a week with their sister, Mrs. Art Williams, Wil-liams, and family. M. H. Carling and son of Huntington Hunt-ington Park, California, were visitors visi-tors at the Leonard Bowen home Tuesday. Mr. Carling is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Bowen. IMrs. Frank Terry of Salt Lake City and Miss Gay LeFevre of Minersville spent Tuesday night with their sister, Mrs. Roldo Turner. |
